St. Philomena Triduum Aug. 9–11
Send us your intentions.
St. Philomena, beloved little miracle worker of the Curé of Ars — he gaveher all the credit! — is also the “poster child” for traditional Catholics today. John XXIII removed her from the Missal, but this did nothing to stop the ever-growing devotion to “the Princess of Paradise.”
We thought you might like to join us in our Triduum in her honor which begins tomorrow, August 9th, as well as to send in your intentions for her feast day Mass on Monday, August 11th. Your intentions will be placed on the altar and prayed for.
In acknowledgement, we’ll send each of you a holy card, with a picture of St. Philomena, a devotional prayer to her and her story.
But it’s not necessary to have any particular prayer in her honor. This saint who is so powerful with God recommends the recitation of the Apostle Creed three times: once, for the perseverance of the just, a second time for the conversion of sinners, and a third time, for the return of heretics and infidels to the faith.
Come pray with us these three days of grace!
