The Synod: Marriage, Modernism and the Mass
Sermon by the Most Rev. Daniel L. Dolan
From the his years as a young priest in the 1970s, the Most Rev. Daniel L. Dolan has enjoyed the reputation of being one of the best preachers in the traditional Catholic movement. His sermons are known for their solid doctrinal content, originality in thought, popular style, topicality, and engaging delivery.
We are pleased to present Bishop Dolan’s sermon on October 25, 2015, the Feast of Christ the King, during the annual Forty Hours Devotion at St. Gertrude the Great Church in West Chester, Ohio.
It was delivered immediately after the conclusion of the 2015 Synod on the Family, presided over by Francis, at which the bishops passed resolutions opening the door for the reception of Communion by the divorced and remarried.
Consider making a contribution to support Bishop Dolan and St. Gertrude the Great’s internet apostolate of bringing solid Catholic preaching and live webcasts of its Masses to faithful Catholics throughout the world.
