Dear Catholic Faithful,
the 16 July is the sixth Sunday after Pentecost with a commemoration of the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. On this day we remember the great gift the Blessed Virgin Mary has given to us: the Brown Scapular with her promise to help those in Purgatory who in life wore it with devotion. In order to lessen the sufferings of the poor souls and to hasten the time of their deliverance, we are esblishing a Purgatorian Guild at Our Lady of Victory Chapel. Now you can enroll your departed loved ones, friends, relatives and benefactors to be remembered in special Masses that we will be offering on a weekly basis for the repose of the poor souls in Purgatory.
